How Do I Start From A Template?
Pick a template from the gallery and clone it into your account. You get a complete, editable website you can change like any other, with the AI editor or by uploading your own files over it.

What Cloning Gives You
A clone is a complete copy in your own account. Not a linked theme, not something that updates when we change the original. From the moment you clone it, the files are yours and nothing we do to the template touches your site.
It arrives on a free subdomain, live immediately, and you can connect your own domain later on any paid plan.
Changing It
Three ways, and you can mix them:
- Ask the AI editor. Describe the change in plain words, for example "make the hero green and change the heading to my business name"
- Edit the files directly in the dashboard
- Upload your own files over it, replacing whatever you want

Does It Use A Website Slot?
Yes. A cloned template is an ordinary website on your account and counts towards your plan's website limit the same as any other. The Free plan includes one website, so if you already have one you will need to upgrade or remove the existing site before cloning.
Storage works the same way: the template's files count towards your pooled storage, which is 3 MB on Free.
Picking One
The demos are real published sites, so what you see is what you get. Look at one on your phone before choosing, since that is where most visitors will see yours.
If a template is close but not right, clone it anyway. Changing the words and the pictures is usually quicker than starting from an empty page.
