How Do I Update My Published Website?
Upload a new version through the publish wizard (File Explorer, then Upload New Version), or edit files directly in the Code Editor and press Publish. Every publish creates a new version in Version History. Folder, ZIP and file uploads replace the whole site; pasting HTML or publishing from the Code Editor keeps your other files.

There are two main ways to update a published website, and they behave differently:
- Upload a new version - from the website's File Explorer page, press Upload New Version to reopen the publish wizard
- Edit in the Code Editor - open the Code Editor, change your files by hand or with the AI, and press Publish
Either way, your change is live in seconds and every publish creates a new entry in Version History, so you can always go back.
Replace Or Keep: Know The Difference
Upload Files, Upload Folder and Upload ZIP File replace everything on the site with what you upload. Include all your files, not just the changed one - a folder upload with one file gives you a one-file site.
Pasting HTML and publishing from the Code Editor work on top of what is already live: other published files are kept.
Editing Individual Files
The Code Editor (opened from your website in the dashboard) edits your published files directly. It has a live preview, a Save Draft button for work in progress, and Publish to make your changes live. Nothing touches the live site until you press Publish.
The File Explorer and Source Viewer pages in the dashboard are read-only views of what is currently published.
Drafts
Draft changes in the Code Editor are yours until published. Note that publishing through the upload wizard removes any unpublished Code Editor draft - the wizard warns you first.
