How Do I Publish My First Website?
Create a website in the dashboard, then pick one of four ways to publish - Paste Your HTML, Upload Files, Upload Folder or Upload ZIP File. Your site is live on its free myoxypages.com subdomain in seconds. The Free plan hosts 1 website with 5 MB of storage and no card required.
Updated
Create a website in your dashboard and you land on the publish wizard, which asks "How Do You Want to Publish?". Pick the path that matches what you have:
- Paste Your HTML - paste a full page or a fragment straight into the editor
- Upload Files - one or more files; you pick which page is the homepage
- Upload Folder - a whole static site: pages, styles, scripts and images
- Upload ZIP File - drop an exported site as one archive and it unpacks right there
If you have nothing yet, Continue With Blank Site publishes an empty starter page you can build on with the Code Editor and the AI.
Press Publish and your site is live in seconds on its free
yourname.myoxypages.com address.
The Homepage Rule
Visitors land on index.html. A folder or ZIP upload needs an
index.html at the top level. With Upload Files, you choose a homepage
from your pages and it is also published as index.html automatically.
Size Limits
Each HTML page can be up to 5 MB, each asset file up to 25 MB, and a ZIP up to 100 MB. The Free plan includes 1 website with 5 MB of total storage, and free websites show a "Powered by OxyPages" banner. See the upload limits article for every plan's storage.
After Publishing
Your site has HTTPS automatically. You can update it any time - every publish creates a new version - and on a paid plan you can connect a custom domain. No card is needed for the Free plan, and a free site stays online with no time limit.
