How Do I Archive A Website?
Archiving takes a website offline and keeps everything in it, and the site stops counting against your website limit. The subdomain is released immediately and can be taken by someone else. Restoring needs a free website slot and assigns a random new subdomain.
How Do I Password Protect My Website?
On any paid plan, turn on Password Protection on the website's Settings page and set a password of at least 6 characters. Visitors must enter it before they can see the site. If the account later moves to the Free plan, the password stops being enforced and the site becomes publicly visible.
How Do I Set Up A Custom 404 Page?
Upload a file called 404.html with your site and OxyPages serves it whenever a visitor hits a missing page. This works on every plan. Paid plans can instead turn on "404 Redirect To Home" in Website Settings to send missing URLs to the homepage - but an uploaded 404.html always wins.
How Do I Update My Published Website?
Upload a new version through the publish wizard (File Explorer, then Upload New Version), or edit files directly in the Code Editor and press Publish. Every publish creates a new version in Version History. Folder, ZIP and file uploads replace the whole site; pasting HTML or publishing from the Code Editor keeps your other files.
How Do Version History And Restore Work?
Every publish creates a new version on the Version History page. Free and Starter keep the last 7 versions, Growth and Pro keep 14, Agency keeps 21. On any paid plan, Restore makes an earlier version live again. The Free plan can view its history but cannot restore.
How Do Website Statistics Work?
Every website has a Statistics page showing views, unique visitors, top pages, countries, referrers, devices, operating systems and browsers, updated hourly. Counting happens on the server with no cookies and no tracking script, real page views only - bots, crawlers and asset requests are excluded, which is why the numbers differ from Google Analytics.
How Does The Media Library Work?
Each website has its own Media Library holding images you upload and images the AI generates - PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF or SVG, up to 10 MB each. Reference an image in your pages as oxy-media/<name> using the Copy Path button. Media counts against your account's pooled storage.
What Are The Upload Limits?
Each HTML page can be up to 5 MB, each asset file (image, script, font, PDF) up to 25 MB, and a ZIP upload up to 100 MB. Total storage is pooled across your account - 5 MB on Free, 500 MB on Starter, 2 GB on Growth, 10 GB on Pro and 20 GB on Agency.
