What is a static website, and is mine one?

A static website is made of ready-made files - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images - that the browser simply downloads. No database, no server code. Portfolios, landing pages, documentation and anything an AI builder exports are static. WordPress, PHP and sites that need a backend are not.

How long does it take to go live?

Seconds. Drop the file, click publish, and the link works right away - on a free myoxypages.com subdomain with HTTPS already on. There is no build step and nothing to configure.

Can I try it without an account?

Yes. Paste your HTML or drop a ZIP on the homepage and you get an unclaimed link straight away, no account needed. It lives for 30 minutes. Claim it with a free account before then and it is yours to keep; if you do not, it is deleted and cannot be recovered.

How big can my upload be?

A single HTML page can be up to 5 MB, individual images and assets up to 25 MB, and a ZIP of the whole site up to 100 MB - as long as it all fits within your plan's storage. Storage is 5 MB on Free, 500 MB on Starter, 2 GB on Growth, 10 GB on Pro and 20 GB on Agency, pooled across all your websites.

Every site gets a free subdomain on myoxypages.com, on every plan, with HTTPS already on. On any paid plan you can also connect a custom domain - one per website.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes, on any paid plan. Bring a domain you already own, or search and buy one right here - and if you buy it here the DNS is configured for you, so there is nothing to point anywhere. You are the registrant, and you can change nameservers whenever you like.

Yes. Every site - free subdomain or your own domain - is served over HTTPS with a free SSL certificate from the first second. There is nothing to set up.

Sites are served and cached on a global CDN with hundreds of locations, so visitors load them from a city near them - with free SSL on every site.

No. Traffic is unlimited on every plan, including Free, and every site is served from a global CDN. The limits that change between plans are websites, storage, AI credits and versions kept - not visitors.

How do I update my site after it is live?

Three ways. Upload the new HTML or ZIP and publish again. Open the built-in code editor and change the file directly, with a live preview. Or describe the change to the AI editor and let it write the code. No Git, no rebuild, no deployment step.

How does the AI editor work, and what are credits?

Describe the change in plain words and the AI editor edits your code. AI edits use credits from your plan's monthly allowance: 10 on Free, 50 on Starter, 100 on Growth, 250 on Pro and 500 on Agency. The allowance resets every month. Messages on very large websites (roughly ten or more pages of code) use 2 credits.

You do. OxyPages only takes the license it needs to host and serve your site, and never uses your content, prompts or form submissions to train AI models.
