How Do Version History And Restore Work?
Every publish creates a new version on the Version History page. Free and Starter keep the last 7 versions, Growth and Pro keep 14, Agency keeps 21. On any paid plan, Restore makes an earlier version live again. The Free plan can view its history but cannot restore.

Every publish creates a new version of your website, listed on the Version History page with its source (paste, file upload, ZIP, Code Editor, and so on), page count, size and publish date.
How many versions are kept depends on your plan: Free and Starter keep the last 7, Growth and Pro keep the last 14, and Agency keeps the last 21. Older versions beyond that are removed as new ones arrive.
Restoring A Version
On any paid plan, each earlier version has a Restore button. Restoring makes that version the live website again right away - visitors see it, and it works on your subdomain and any connected domains.
Restore rewinds rather than copying: the restored version becomes live under its original version number, and the version that was live is superseded. Nothing is deleted, so you can restore back and forth.
Viewing Before You Restore
Every version has a View Source link that shows its files read-only, so you can check you have the right one. There is no rendered preview of an old version - to see it as a visitor would, restore it.
On The Free Plan
The Free plan keeps and shows the same history - 7 versions, with sizes and source view - but restoring is a paid feature. Upgrade to restore a previous version.
