How Do I Password Protect My Website?
On any paid plan, turn on Password Protection on the website's Settings page and set a password of at least 6 characters. Visitors must enter it before they can see the site. If the account later moves to the Free plan, the password stops being enforced and the site becomes publicly visible.

Password protection is a paid-plan feature. On the website's Settings page, turn on the Password Protection switch and set a password of at least 6 characters. From then on, every visitor must enter it before any page or file on the site is served. The check happens on OxyPages' edge network, so nothing on your site needs to change.
One password covers the whole website. Anyone you give it to can view the site; there are no per-visitor accounts.
Important: Downgrading Removes The Protection
Password protection is enforced only while the account is on a paid plan. If the account moves to the Free plan - by downgrading or by cancelling a subscription - the password stops being enforced and the website becomes publicly visible. The password setting is not deleted, but it does nothing on the Free plan.
If a site must never be public, archive it before downgrading, or delete it.
What Visitors See
A visitor opening a protected site sees a "Password Protected" page asking for the password. After entering it they browse normally and stay unlocked for up to 12 hours in that browser. Changing the password locks everyone out again immediately.
Turning It Off
Turn the Password Protection switch off and the password is removed - the website is public again right away.
