Connect A Domain You Already Own
On your website's Domains page, choose Add External Domain, enter your domain and create the CNAME record shown - it points to cname.myoxypages.com. OxyPages detects the record automatically and issues the SSL certificate. Custom domains are a paid-plan feature, one per website.

Open your website's Domains page, find Add Custom Domain and choose the Add External Domain tab. Type your domain (for example www.example.com), press Add Domain, and the page shows you exactly one DNS record to create at your DNS provider: a CNAME pointing to cname.myoxypages.com, with the proxy off (DNS only). Once the record exists, OxyPages detects it automatically and issues your SSL certificate - the status changes from Pending Verification to Valid Configuration. Custom domains are on paid plans, and each website can have one custom domain.
Your domain stays at its current registrar. OxyPages does not offer registrar transfers in - you do not move the domain anywhere, you simply point its DNS at OxyPages and keep managing the domain where it is.
The DNS Record
At your DNS provider (the company where the domain's DNS is hosted), create:
- Type: CNAME
- Name: the subdomain part (for example www), or @ for a bare domain
- Value: cname.myoxypages.com
- Proxy: off (DNS only)
The Domains page shows this same table with copy buttons while the domain is pending, and re-checks automatically. DNS changes can take time to propagate, so a short wait on Pending Verification is normal - press Refresh to check again.
Bare Domains (example.com Without www)
A bare domain (also called apex or root) can only use a CNAME at providers that support CNAME flattening or ALIAS records - Cloudflare, Namecheap, Porkbun and Route53 do. If yours does not, connect www.example.com instead and use your registrar's free domain forwarding to redirect the bare domain to https://www.example.com.
Domains Bought From OxyPages
A domain you bought through OxyPages connects from the other tab, Add Domain Purchased From OxyPages - pick it from the list and press Connect. No DNS records needed; it must be on OxyPages DNS (see Manage DNS And Nameservers).
