How Do I Set Up Captcha For My Forms?

Captcha is mandatory for forms on OxyPages. Until a captcha provider is configured, every submission on your website is rejected and visitors see a "Forms Not Active" page. This is the single most common reason a form appears broken.

You supply your own keys from one of two providers, on the Form Settings page (open the website's Forms page, then Form Settings).

Choose A Provider

• Cloudflare Turnstile (recommended) - free at any volume, no puzzle for visitors, no Google account needed
• Google reCAPTCHA v3 - invisible scoring from Google; needs a Google account to register your domain

The Form Settings page links to each provider's key signup. Register your website's address (your myoxypages.com subdomain, and your custom domain if you use one) with the provider to get the keys.

Save Both Keys

Each provider gives you two keys. Paste both into Form Settings:

• Site Key - the public key, used in the visitor's browser
• Secret Key - verified server-side on every submission; it is never shown again after saving

Press Save Form Settings. From that moment your published forms accept submissions. You do not add any captcha code to your pages - OxyPages adds the captcha widget to your forms automatically.

Spam Protection Beyond Captcha

A hidden honeypot field is added to every form automatically, with no setup. A submission that fills it is kept but marked as Spam on your Forms page, and no notification email is sent for it.

Turning Forms Off

The Turn Forms Off button on Form Settings stops accepting submissions again. Entries already received are kept and stay visible.
